Nelly Ayre Foss

A lovely autumn waterfall in the North Yorkshire Moors National Park, on the outskirts of Goathland. Better known as Aidensfield in the ITV drama Heart Beat. A drama set in the 60’s audiences around the world fell in love with the North Riding OF Yorkshire and Nick Berry, who played Nick Rowan the village bobby who rounded up sheep rustlers and sorted out all the other misdemeanors that went on around the moors. Set near the coastal town of whitby the series ran for nearly 20 years and had a TV audience of millions. Today tourist still come to see the Aidensfield Arms and Scripp’s Garage. Along with the village train station that is better known as Hogsmeade Station from the Harry Potter movies.
