Kettlewell To Starbotton
A lovely early spring morning in 2015. This was a number of shots taken on a Yorkshire Dales photography trip to Wharfedale. Starting at Kettlewell i headed off into the hills opposite the Buckden Pike. As the sun began to rise the sky’s over Wharfedale filled with colour. Stumbling across this location close to the Dales way; this scene really captures the essence of the Dales. Dry stone walls cross the valley and the famous Dales Barns dot the landscape. The dale is divided by the River Wharfe and as the temperatures begin to increase; mist begins to rise over the river bank. With scenes like this ; looking from Kettlewell to Starbotton it is little wonder that tourist flock to the Yorkshire Dales and are captivated by this magical landscape.
