A spring sunrise in the Yorkshire Dales. Looking over the limestone terraces of the village of Kettlewell and the River Wharfe in Upper Wharfedale. The Dales Way runs past here eventually finishing up on the banks of Lake Windermere in the Lake District National Park. Kettlewell like the surrounding villages of Buckden and Starbotton all sit under the shadow of the Buckden Pike. One of the highest peaks in the area at 702 meters it is often visited by walkers. It is no surprise that the villages around Buckden Pike are a growing tourist destination offering more Dales accommodation Year on Year.
