The Ingleton Waterfall trail in the Yorkshire Dales National Park, follows the river Twiss and the river Doe. For nearly 5 miles past a series of magical waterfalls and enchanted woodland. For many years the waterfall off Pecca Twins, Holly Bush Spout and the other waterfalls where hidden from view and largely inaccessible. A series of articles in in the local paper like Lancaster Guardian sparked interest which led to the trail been established with paths and bridges been built, the trail opened on good Friday 11th April 1985, and is serviced by the Ingleton railway station. Bringing visitors from Manchester, Leeds and Bradford.
