Dent Head Viaduct
A spectacular Yorkshire Dales landscape. The setting Sun and Fog combine to create an orange mist. That begins to engulf the Dent Head Viaduct in the West Riding of Yorkshire. This impressive Victorian Structure is built from the Marble it stands on, and is part of the Settle to Carlisle railway. Dry stone walls typical of the area run into the valley and a secluded barn peers across the vista from the steep slopes.
The Dales are becoming an increasingly popular tourist destination with visitors arriving from all over the world, coming to see the historic towns like Settle and Hawes home to the Wensleydale Creamery one of the main producers for the famous Wensleydale cheese.
