Falling Foss Tea Garden

Autumn in this enchanted woodland a few miles from Whitby, the river flows round the old gamekeeper’s cottage that can be seen through the autumn leaves, it then falls 30 feet down the mightily impressive Falling Foss waterfall in the Heart of Sneaton Forest before joining the River Esk. There seems little wonder that Alfred Wainwright chose to take his Coast to Coast walk past this mystical location in the North Yorkshire Moors. The cottage is now used as a tea room and popular in the summer months.
