Goathland Station Bridge

Early morning at Goathland Station, this station has been used in so many films and dramas through the years it has become familiar the world over. The station’s most famous role was when it was transformed by ‘Warner Brothers’ into Hogsmeade Station in the movie “Harry Potter And The Philosopher’s Stone”. The station was the last stop for the Hogwarts Express for the students of witchcraft and wizardry on the way to Hogwarts Castle, perhaps the most famous shot of the station is at the end of the movie when the Hogwarts Express passes under the footbridge and thanks to the magic of special effects Hogwarts Castle can be seen in the distance.
