Thornton Le Dale
In Ryedale North Yorkshire just a few miles from the market town of Pickering is the picturesque village of Thornton Le Dale. Known for been the gateway to the North Yorkshire Moors National Park it also well known for its yearly shows with the summer show going into its 97th year in August 3rd 2016. The North Yorkshire Gallery will be there as it has been for few years now, exhibiting our work from the County, it’s a great privilege to be there and an occasion not to be mist. Along with the shows Thornton Le Dale is also famous for this iconic view of Beck Isle Cottage. This image has appeared on everything from biscuit tins to calendars and is one of the most popular locations for photography in North Yorkshire.
