Aireyholme Farm

A Winters morning in North Yorkshire from Aireyholme Farm. The Farm situated close to Roseberry Topping was once Home to Captain James Cook. When James was young his father took a job on the farm as a foreman moving his family from Marton on the outskirts of Middlesbrough to a cottage close by. The actual location of the cottage is unclear but there is at the time of writing an excavation under way to find the place the cottage once stood. James attended the local school in Great Ayton for 5 years.
