And on this evening i remember visiting an aunt who owns a local farm and holidays homes where i spent a lot of my childhood. Lealholm village is also a great place to spend a Day or evening; the village has shops restaurants a pub and picnic area. A must when visiting Lealholm is to cross the River Esk on her way to Whitby via the famous stepping stones. Sheep often wonder threw the village coming down from the moor. Lealholm can be reached by the Esk Valley Line which runs from Middlesbrough to Whitby.
