Staithes Summer Morning
This was a beautiful sunrise i captured in the Summer of 2016. I had intended to shoot from Cowbar looking over Staithes; However on arrival i had been beaten to it so my hand was forced to go and find something different. Wondering down into Staithes and takin a few pics on the way a eventually stopped here on the slipway. And i was so glad i did because as the sun rose; a warm yellow light lit the morning sky. Rising over Staithes Harbour and cobbles the light reflects of the side of the Cod and Lobster.
Staithes has always been a special place for me personally having lived here for a while; and still having family in the village. I have enjoyed many fishing trips out of this harbour with local fisherman and friend Sean Baxster.
