Staithes Cobbled Streets
Early morning at Staithes just before sunrise. Having set my alarm, got up and traveled the short distance to Staithes. I had intended to shoot the sunrise from Cowbar. On arrival i noticed a few photographers had already set up to shoot from the familiar view; looking over the village. Another option would have been Cowbar Nab; but unfortunately it had been sealed off due to to a landslip. Another idea i wanted to try was to shoot the Sunrise from Staithes harbour. Setting off down to the village i felt compelled to a few shots of all the cottages; with all the flower baskets in full bloom. Not long after these images were taken; i had the privilege of exhibiting my work outside Lyth Family Butchers here on the high street; for The Staithes Festival Of Arts and Heritage. After taking a few shots of Staithes Cobbled Streets i headed of down to the Cod and Lobster for sunrise.
