Sean Baxters Boat Staithes
All My Son’s is moored along the harbour wall at Staithes on the Yorkshire Coast. Staithes doesn’t have the fishing fleet it used to but there are some boats remaining, including this one belonging to my friend Sean Baxter. Sean is heavily involved with all aspects of coastal life, teaching groups about the environment and he is also a member of the Staithes and Runswick lifeboat crew who risk there lives to rescue people from the sea. Sean even won an RNLI award for his bravery . But his main job is taking groups of anglers out on his boat for a days fishing off Staithes and Boulby, and is joined by boats from whitby making the most of the great fishing grounds off Staithes. I have enjoyed many fishing trips with Sean over the years and i cannot recommend enough, a days fishing with him for anybody visiting the area or people living locally looking to spend a day fishing.
