Saltburn Sunrise Over Huntcliff
Sunrise on the Yorkshire Coast at Saltburn By Sea. The gentle waves of the North Sea brake on the the golden sands of Saltburn Beach. Surfers have already hit the water and a friend of mine is bobbing up and down in the waves between the Pier and The Ship. Saltburn is becoming an extremely popular tourist destination with the Valley Gardens and Italian Gardens becoming as popular as the Victorian pier. Saltburn cliff lift offers a ride up the steep slope to the Victorian town above with its many shops and restaurants and the white brick train stations the terminus of the Tees Valley Line. Saltburn is also past threw by the many people who walk the Cleveland Way long distance walk from Filey to Helmsley, Saltburn marks the point that the Cleveland way heads inland towards Roseberry Topping and the Heritage Coast ends at huntcliff.
