Cattersty Sands Sunrise
A beautiful beach on a summer’s morning, overlooked by the Cleveland Way which passes on the cliffs overhead. The Jetty was built in 1882 by The Skinningrove Iron And Steel Company. I have more affection for this beach than any other having spent a lot of my childhood on it, from morning walks with my grandad to swimming in the summer. I was extremely proud when I was approached by Redcar and Cleveland Council who wanted to use this image on a sign that now stands at the entrance to Skinningrove village.
