Robin Hoods Bay
An early start with a drive down the Yorkshire Coast on a winters morning. As i approached Robin Hoods Bay the first light of Dawn did not disappoint as the sky began to fill with colour. Stood looking over the old smugglers village from the Cleveland Way the there is a sense of grandeur and defiance from the sandstone cottages perched on the edge of the bay. Behind the houses and across sea the cliffs of Ravenscar are silhouetted against the warming colours of the morning sky. Protruding out into the North Sea they are part of a 36 mile stretch of coastline known as the North Yorkshire and Cleveland Heritage Coast.
